I talk a lot about food. Weird.

Nice belly button, eh?

Over the Easter weekend we traveled down south to Des Moines to see family and friends. We were lucky and Wade’s mom and Z could make it as well as Todd’s parents and grandpa, so our Easter dinner was the biggest it has been in years! It was great! The food was to die for. I really must learn how to cook. I just hate the cooking part of it all and would love to skip directly to the eating part of it. :)

On Saturday afternoon my mom, Kara and I went shopping. What was supposed to be a quick stop at Kohl’s for their tax free day ended up being a couple hours and my maternity wardrobe doubled in size and little Nugget’s wardrobe tripled in size. This little girl is going to have more clothes than me soon! But damn is she going to be well dressed! (And hopefully I will be too now that I have more than 4 shirts to alternate between each week! Yikes!) Kara saw my belly button for the first time and her response was less than stellar. I believe it went something like this: “Ewwwww…” Yeah, not cool Kara. You just wait until it’s your turn to pop one out. You’re not getting any of my stylish hand me downs. :)

Nothing like standing next to your twin sister to remind you how big you've gotten.

This week will be pretty uneventful. Wade has to travel to Auburn on Wednesday and I have a fun glucose test to take at the OB’s on Thursday. I’m dreading it. It is a test to screen for gestational diabetes. I’m mostly dreading the outcome. I’m fearful that I have it and then will have to alter my diet which as of now consists of a lot of fried chicken, Dr. Pepper and pasta. Yum! But I’m also dreading the stuff I have to drink. Supposedly it tastes like flat orange soda. That I can tolerate. However some women get nauseous from it and actually throw up. Please God, don’t make me throw it up. Ew.

Also, our dresser should be in by Thursday this week so Wade will have a fun weekend project! It’s a good thing b/c I’m running out of closet space for all of little Nuggets clothes already! Oops!
How was ya’lls Easter weekend? Did you get some tasty food like me? I’ve got a baggie full of close to 50 Airheads in my desk from my Easter basket so if this test comes back saying I have gestational diabetes I’ll be pissed.

I thought you two looked a little too similar to not be sisters. ..lol, let alone twins! Your belly look adorable ...even with the target in the center! :)

Don't fear the glucose test, it's really not that bad, but I do recommend the orange over the lemon/lime if they give you the choice. Think flat orange sunkist. Hi-C ish. You'll do great!

love your cooking comment!

and i hope you don't have gestational diabetes. my sis had that on baby #2. but even if you do, you will be ok! she just had to switch up some of the things she was eating, and it went away after the baby came. WHEW!

and you still look cute even if your belly button is creepy. :)

I realize I'm leaving the same comment over and over but YOU ARE THE CUTEST LITTLE PREGGO EVER. I wish my sister and I could be pregnant together but she's a faster track to kids than I am, and I may opt for adoption instead anyway. BUT GAH, you are SO CUTE.

Aw, I still don't think you look that big at all - most people as far on as you would be far bigger (and probably all over!); you just have a neat little bump!

I'll keep my fingers crossed that you don't throw up during the test!

Sorry Kellie Belly. I've never seen a preggo belly button in person before. It was cute, looking back. I just wasn't ready for it. And I can't wait to wear all your hand-me-down preggo clothes once I'm preggo... Wait, yes I can. ;) Love you!

Kara - I tend to wear what is comfortable when riding since we usually go on long rides. I'll either wear my Converse or my black boots for shoes (you want protection) and some jeans and a cute tee. Hubs has a leather riding jacket and I should get one too but don't have one yet (they are fairly pricey). Above all else when we are going long distance and will be on highways etc we wear helmets. If we are just out joy riding on slow roads we don't always though. Sometimes the wind in your hair just feels too good! :)
Have fun! I love it!

Don't worry. The test isn't that bad. I mean it's gross, but totally doable. You look super fab btw!

Hahaha to your sister. I feel like me and my sister will have the same reaction to whoever gets pregnant first! Though my brother's belly button is a fright to see, and he isn't nor ever will be pregnant!
And good luck with the glucose test, I hope it goes okay!
