Well, it’s official. Wade’s broken wrist is going to need to have a pin placed in it. This glorious and expensive surgery will be taking place tomorrow morning bright and early. He can no longer say that his motorcycle racing is fairly inexpensive b/c this shit is ridic. He will be in a wrist cast for a week following the surgery and then a splint thingy for another 5-6 weeks after that. He’ll have to learn how to do diaper duty w/ this on b/c he is NOT getting out of it. Sorry buddy but I’m doing (and have been doing for the last 9 months) all the work here so you’ve got to step up once she’s outside of my ute. I’ve got wishful thinking that he’ll be done with his racing after this but that is all it is… wishful. Unfortunately not very realistic. But here is hoping that once we have this kiddo his priorities will change a bit and he won’t have that need for speed/adrenaline all the time.
In other good news, we got our tub refinished on Monday and it looks like a brand new tub! I love it! I am thinking I’ll be bathing in it tonight! Just call me Shamu! :) We also got our new mirror/medicine cabinet and lights last night and Wade will be installing them either tonight or Saturday. He’ll be out of business all day Friday w/ a numb arm. (Insert stranger hand jokes here. Teehee.) So once these last two items are installed our bathroom is DONE! Hallelujah.

I’ve got my 38 week OB appointment tomorrow afternoon. We’ll see if anymore progress has been made. At my appointment last week I was just under a fingertip dilated. Although not much (at all) it made me excited to hear that at least something is going on and she’s getting ready to make her appearance. I’m still keeping my fingers crossed that I have her on the 19th to honor my Grandma, but at this point I don’t think it is likely…
Happy Thursday everyone! TGTIF! (Thank God Tomorrow Is Friday!)

Oooh, I'd LOVE a nice sparkly shiny new bath like that - it's as if it's just ASKING me to jump in!
oh that motorcycle racing. my bro-in-law does it, and he has taken MANY an expensive turn on those bikes. i've had boyfriends into bikes and it seems like they have all had their fair share of scary accidents. hope wade will be fine and that he will lose interest in the bike stuff. but i won't hold my breath!
hope you have a great soak, and a super weekend!
