Bore-dumb

20 reasons that prove that this week at work has been SOOOOO slow*:

1. I’ve been singing the stupid “Spider Pig” song from The Simpsons Movie in my head for the past 6 hours.

2. I’ve been reading random people’s blogs and making new blog friends (there are some great and hilarious blogs out there!)

3. I’ve actually made a list (a short list) of possible names for my unborn (and not yet conceived) child (& we aren’t even TRYING yet)

4. I’ve also made a list of things I want to do before I die; this list continues to get longer and longer. It’s kind of depressing really.

5. I submitted my picture onto http://www.beautifulpeople.net/ to determine if random attractive men on this planet consider me attractive enough to be a member (lucky me, they do, phew! I was really worried! NOT!) Seriously, who says that anymore???

6. I also submitted Wade’s picture to see if he was an attractive enough mate for me (since I am in what is supposedly the top 10% of attractive women, I need myself a hot man). Lucky for him, he was voted as attractive as well and I’ll keep him around. Wait, I already knew that! Of course he’s hot! Smokin! Duh!

7. I’m a picker, yes, I admit it. If there is even a semblance of a scab on my body I pick at it. I now have 3 new spots on my left arm and 1 on my right that I have continuously picked at all week. I’m sure they will all scab over and scar. Beautiful. No, gross. Sorry.

8. I keep looking at my bill pay and hope more bills came in just so I can submit a payment to them and occupy myself for 1 minute (seriously, who wants bills to come due!?!)

9. I’m constantly clicking on http://www.people.com/ to see if there are any celebrity news updates (and there are! Tila Tequila’s g/f is cited for battery! Oh my!!! And Ricky Martin just had twin boys via a surrogate. If this doesn’t prove that he’s gay, I don’t know what will!)

10. I have started a list of Christmas gifts that I want and possible gifts to give to others. Can we say “plan ahead much”???

11. I am seriously CRAVING a pomegranate mojito from Stella’s. I need alcohol. Really, any kind will do at this point. It will just make things go by faster and seem more interesting. I’m so bored it’s turning me into an alcoholic.

12. My co-workers and I were just debating on how disgusting bacon coated in chocolate sounds. Seriously, who eats that?!?! (See, we are ALL bored here, it’s not just me)

13. I seriously think I can feel my ass getting stuck to my chair seat I've been sitting in it for so long…

14. I’ve been twitter, twitter, twittering!

15. I’ve noticed that I have way too many lists started…

16. I’ve been doodling many different possible designs for my next tattoo (but I can’t decide where I want to get it!)

17. I’ve noticed (by my constant visiting of people.com) that a lot of celebrities have the stupidest names for their children: Shiloh, Suri, Apple, Coco, Rumur, etc. Dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb… Oh and Matthew McConaughey is HOT (but I already knew that).

18. I’ve learned that sometimes animals rain from the sky. Mostly frogs and fish, but seriously, it’s on wikipedia, so it MUST be true. Wikipedia rules. It takes away my boredom for a bit by looking up random and stupid stuff.

19. I googled my name, my old maiden name, and Wade’s name. Found a lot of boring stuff (besides my blog, which rules of course), and apparently there is a folk singer w/ my maiden name, and a lot of racing crud on Wade. Wow, boring.

And the last reason that proves it is DEAD in my office...

20. I’m making this stupid and silly list.


(*Note: I’m fully aware that most of you will find this list completely dumb, probably a little amusing at most, however, this is just exactly how extremely dead our office has been this whole week)

Now get me a drink STAT!!!
