You've got to pay the troll toll...

Dorks on parade :)

Memorial Day weekend was great; as expected. The fam came up and we enjoyed perfect weather! Saturday we picked up Kara’s wedding dress and then went to watch Wade race down in Elko for their ‘Eve of Destruction’ event. It was actually a ton of fun. They had regular racing throughout the night but then they also had some fun things like motocross jumping, school bus racing and ‘Dukes of Hazzard’ jumping interspersed throughout the night. The best was when they ‘Dukes of Hazzard’ jumped a school bus off the ramp. Hilarious! And even better yet, Wade won his race! So the night was not only a lot of fun but a success!

Sunday we relaxed all morning and then went mini golfing and eventually made our way downtown for the Twins game. The weather was not cooperative during the first 3 innings but eventually cleared up and the Twins won! So another fun and successful night!
Look at the sky! Amazing! And yes, we were in the nose bleeds!

Thursday is our next ultrasound to check the placenta again and see if it has moved further from the cervix opening. So I’ll have some more pics to share of our little Nugget later this week. I can’t wait to get to see her again! :) At this point she is supposed to be near 4 pounds! She’s getting so big. Well, at least I’m assuming she is b/c I DEFINITELY am! Ugh!

Other than that nothing too big going on this week. I plan on starting in on the massive amount of laundry that I need to do before Nugget arrives. That should be a blast. And hopefully Wade and I will find a recliner that we can agree on to put in Nugget’s room so we can get her room put together finally. Such exciting lives we lead… :)

Only 8 more weeks until I can enjoy a nice cold one. Mmmm... (Don't you love how I count down to drinking?)

Hope you all had a splendid long weekend and have an even better week!

xoxo~

HA, a friend of mine counted down the days she could drink when she was pregnant and then when she had the baby she got SO disappointed when she found out she couldnt drink until the baby was done feeding.

It was sad but hilarious at the same time.

I so often swear off the drink when i'm on a diet - then within three days am right back on the drinking wagon (and off the actual "I'm an alcoholic but dealing with it" wagon, obvs) so I feel so bad for you.

But you're having a little baby and that's so cute.

(And yes, I've suddenly realised I'm broody. Just not enough to give up nine plus months of drinking yet...)
