Settle in b/c it's gonna be a long ride. Here goes:
What is the thing that makes you happy?
Lots of things make me happy. My husband, my dog, my family and friends, a sunny and warm day, flowers, the smell of spring, a pina colada on the beach, holidays, toilet humor, caffeine, shopping, love, little puppies and bunnies and kitten mittens... The list could go on and on.
Coffee or Tea?
Coffee most definitely. Especially with a little flavored creamer. French vanilla or something along those lines and I'm a happy camper. So theres another to add to the above list!
What's for dinner?
Well, it depends on if I'm eating alone or if the hubs is with me. If I'm eating alone it is usually something easy and fast. I'm like a scavenger in the kitchen. Cereal, frozen nuggets, lunch meat sandwich, chips, popcorn, string cheese... you know, that kind of healthy stuff. If it's with the hubs it's usually better like some sort of casserole, BBQ, spaghetti, breakfast for dinner, pizza, enchiladas or mac and cheese. Yeah, we're super healthy like that.
What was the last thing you bought?
Boring stuff at Target. Nothing exciting unfortunately.
What are you listening to right now?
90210. Yeah, I watch mature TV shows. So what?
What is your favorite piece of clothing in your wardrobe?
This is a hard one but I have to go with jeans. Any of them. I love jeans. If I could wear them everywhere I would. But then again I also love wearing skirts and dresses and dressing up every now and then b/c it makes me feel pretty. But jeans are so easy. EVERYTHING goes with them.
What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
Cookies and Cream. Hands down. Especially when I get a bite with a big oreo in it. Yummmm...
What do you think of the person who tagged you?
I think she's rad and love getting to know her better. And now that she is moving HERE I can't wait! We can actually get drinks!!!
If I could go anywhere in the world for the next hour where would I go?
Australia. I've never been there and would love to go! Although an hour would probably just make me wish I could stay longer...
Which language do you want to learn?
French. Ever since we went there in July I've wanted to learn it. But I procrastinate and probably never will.
If you had $100 now what would you spend it on?
Shoes. Definitely shoes. I have a serious addiction.
Describe your style.
Well, like I said earlier I'm a jeans lover. I also love classic pieces tied with trendy items. Most of what I wear is simple. I wear a lot of black and grey b/c it goes with everything. And I love scarfs and statement necklaces.
What are you going to do after this?
I'm going to bed. I know you are reading this and it's in the morning but really as I'm typing this it's almost 11 pm. I'm going to go cuddle the hubs b/c he just got back from Cali!
What are your favorite movies?
Ugh. I hate this question b/c I can never think of them. So... Your mom. :)
What inspires you?
You guys! All the people who read this and comment and all the blogs I read. And Wade. He makes me want to better myself. And music and art and fashion!
What is your favorite fruit?
Strawberries! Num num num!
Do you collect anything?
Purses and shoes. Like I said, I have a serious addiction/problem.
How many hours do you sleep a day?
I usually go to bed around 11:30-12 and wake up around 7, so close to 7 hours. Not too bad. I love to sleep.
How many times do you press the snooze button before you get up?
Once. Any more than that and I would just keep snoozing so I have to limit myself to one! You don't want to have too much of a good thing, right? Ha!
What is your favorite smell?
The ocean.
What is your biggest regret?
Live life with no regrets! I think everything happens for a reason. I do think there were small moments where I could have handled myself better in the past, however I choose not to dwell on them and instead to learn from them. Therefore, I don't regret them.
What are you most proud of?
Snagging my man. He's hot. I'm a lucky woman. That is an accomplishment! :)
Cats or dogs?
Easy. Dogs all the way.
What's your biggest fashion mistake?
I can't say I had anything major b/c typically when I look back that stuff was in style then so is it still considered a mistake? I'll go with overalls w/ one strap hanging down. Gangsta. It was hot. :)
What is your guilty TV pleasure?
What ISN'T my guilty TV pleasure. That would be the easier question to answer.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
A vet. I still would love to be a vet but my art degree ain't gonna cut it.
If you could meet any person dead or alive who would it be?
This is a hard question. Do I go with someone famous and dead, famous and alive or someone in my family history that I never got to meet? I'm going to go with my Mom's dad. I never met my grandpa. He died when my mom was 7 or something like that. I think any celebrities would just be a let down in the end. Even though I love celebrity news!
What is your biggest dream?
I just want to live a normal everyday healthy and happy life. I guess my biggest dream would be to be debt free. Then think of all the shoes and purses I could buy! Haha!
What was your favorite book as a child?
I think I really liked Curious George. I don't remember. My memory sucks.
If today was your last day on earth what would you be doing?
I have no idea. I'd probably be crying that it was my last day! But I think I would want to go skydiving! Conquer a fear before you die!
If you could have one super power what would it be?
Teleportation definitely. Just think of the possibilities. Didn't you see 'Jumper'?
If you joined the circus what act would you perform?
The trapeze!!
Why did you start your blog?
I started it as a way to keep my family updated on what was going on in our lives since we moved to MN. Ironically I don't think my family reads it much anymore! It's morphed into a life of it's own!
And I'm not adding my own question b/c Lord knows there are more than enough questions to this thing already! And I tag anyone who is looking for something to post about! :) I know. I squelch on the rules but it's my blog so I do what I want! Sorry for the novel!
