Rob made an appearance a few weeks ago. I let him out of his basement corner for a few photo ops. He actually makes us look tan standing next to him. He's really shiny/sparkly white isn't he? Just lovely. Oh and how do you like our coincidental outfit coordination? Don't worry, I changed so we didn't look like exact twinsies. :)

U-G-L-Y, You ain't got no alibi ugly sweater!

I am finally beginning to catch back up on blog land, however if I haven’t been commenting a lot lately I apologize. It’s hard to get back up to date! I’m so glad it is the freakin weekend and we’re bout to have us a ball.

I am not doing a damn thing tonight. Hubs is traveling home from Santiago, Chile where he has been since Tuesday (after a ridiculous layover in Atlanta that was all jacked up) and I get to pick him up tomorrow morning from the airport. So tonight I plan on watching a chick flick, having a couple drinks and maybe some popcorn or something and relaxing under a blanket on the couch w/ my fur muffin, Kobe.

Speaking of my fur muffin, he had such bad gas the other night. Damn. He rarely farts and if he does the smell promptly dissipates since he is so small and it’s all good. However the other night I swear these things were so freaking stinky that they solidified in the air and I accidentally ate them. I had fart in my mouth. I know it. It was disgusting. And each time he’d do it he’d look up at me w/ these sad eyes like “sorry I just shit in your mouth but my tum feels like ass”. Barf. But definitely a face you can't stay mad at for shitting in your mouth. (That is a phrase I never thought I'd say).

Tomorrow night we are going to the Bormann’s abode for an ugly sweater party, drinks, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation and white elephant gift exchange! It promises to be a GREAT time! Can’t wait! There will definitely be pictures of all the ugly sweaters. Wade's is awesome. I found it yesterday at a thrift store. Mine isn't holiday related but it's definitely ugly. The holiday related sweaters were impossible to find so I just settled on something that was heinous. I seriously wonder who the hell ever wore these damn things. They couldn't have possibly EVER been IN style. No flippin way.

Ah. Better late than never right? I'm so behind since being on vacation. But it was a great vacation. The days off were much needed. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We traveled all through MN, IL and IA and got to see basically everyone so it was a lot of fun.

"I have been seeing other bloggers share their generosity by doing "cans for comments" postings and I thought it was a really cool idea, which got me thinking about what more I can do to help others.This also reminded me of a news story I heard about a year ago that really bothered me. The story was about a baby who had passed away because the mom had been struggling financially so she was trying to stretch out her supply of formula by adding more water to the bottles than the recommended amount. After a period of time this made the baby ill. The boys were just newborns at the time and I was in that phase where all I did was mix bottles and feed babies and the story just made me sick to my stomach. But reminded me how fortunate we are to able to afford to feed our children."


*If you don't do this I will know that you are a baby hater and the devil has a special place reserved in hell for baby haters. But don't worry. I'll be on the bus to hell too. Just not for hating babies. It will be more for something like taking the Lord's name in vain one million-gagillionty times in my short life or peeing in public or stealing frozen burritos from the gas station while drunk. Wait. Now I'm confusing hell w/ jail. Well whatever. I'll be in jail, you'll be in hell. Either way. We both lose.
